Ski Country saved our RV trip. Ben was our savior!!! Coolant hose blew on our 43 foot RV coming down from Eisenhower tunnel. Ben found the leak and fixed it in 30 min on the side of the road on the rain! Our family thinks he is the BEST!

Our 2005 4Runner with only 74K miles developed heavy pulsating brakes near Vail CO. I checked Google Maps to see who might be able to fix them and came across Sky Country Auto Repair and Towing which had the best review rating in the near area. Gave them a call and Jeff, one of the owners, answered the phone. Since we were staying in Vail, Jeff recommend someone closer by. I felt this was the right shop to go with. I contacted our mechanic, Jeremy, one of the best ones at our Toyota dealer in our hometown that has worked on our 4Runner since it was new and shared a little about the shop with him. Describing the symptoms, I said I suspected the front brake rotors and he agreed. Jeremy thought the shop was qualified and volunteered to be on the phone with them after they diagnosed the problem. Gabe, their mechanic, diagnosed it as definitely a front rotor problem after a test drive, but upon inspection after putting it on the lift, found one of the calipers was not opening up and dragging on the rotor warping it. They recommended replacing both rotors, replacing the faulty caliper, replacing the brake pads, and flushing the brake fluid. After Jeff calculated the cost to fix the brakes, I asked Jeff if he was willing to share their findings and get Jeremy’s opinion on doing everything they recommended, and to give his opinion on whether to go with NAPA rotors or wait for Toyota in Denver to deliver stock rotors. Jeremy was satisfied with Jeff’s recommendation/quote and didn’t see a need to go with Toyota parts. Less than 3 hours later, we were on our way with a perfectly performing 4Runner. Wow! A great experience!

OK! So an oil change and a tire rotation only took eight hours. But I'm alright with that because its happened before. The only reason I'm not upset is that the staff (Jeff) called me ahead of time to tip me off that it wasn't going to be "Jiffy Lube". With that time on the phone we were able to devise a new plan that worked out perfectly. Still got my vehicle back before darkness fell. I can't commend them enough for all of their efforts!

I got a tire rotation and oil change. Car is now running better than ever. Best service in summit county!! Don’t go anywhere else
