Also forgot to mention that they had my car from 8 am to 4pm doing said inspection to diagnose if anything was wrong on my car... which nothing is fixed from this inspection but it took all day, plus an unwanted oil change... cost me $239... pretty steep for just looking at the car and then doing an oil change I didn’t even want and charging me for it.

Thank you for your review Tara. It gives us the opportunity to review how we are serving our customers and how we can do it better. Amazing - Mike wore a Halo yesterday! Traveling up the Eisenhower Tunnel Pass Eastbound, our truck, towing our very heavy toy trailer with toy inside, blew the transmission seal. We were literally stuck on the very narrow shoulder with extremely limited cell phone service. We are AAA Members but found ourselves on hold with them for almost an hour, so dangerous! We decided before we caused a major traffic issue and someone got hurt, to call State Patrol. They called Ski Country for us and we are so grateful they did. Mike and Sargent GT Manning of SP arrived within 15 mins. Both were extremely friendly, calmed our nerves, had us hooked up within a half hour. Mike was available to haul our entire rig all the way down the mountain to Arvada. He dropped our trailer in a nearby parking lot and backed our truck right into our driveway!! We rode in the cab of Mike's rig and he was so friendly, professional and made a very stressful situation so much easier on all of us. Obviously, something like this can be expensive but he was worth it!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company!! Hope we don't ever need their services again but if we do, they are the first call we will make!

Thank you Tricia for your review. We don't take offense that you don't want our towing services again. LOL. Most don't wish to be repeat customers but we are here for you should the situation present itself. Mike is a very seasoned and valuable member of our team! We are pleased that he met your expectations and delivered your vehicle and trailer safely. Thank you again for taking time to leave us a great review! We truly appreciate it. Safe travels to you from the Ski Country Auto Repair and Towing Team.

It was Saturday afternoon at 4pm and i was leaving to begin the 4 hour drive back to Grand Junction. i had come for one night only for a desperately needed mini vacation at my friends house. Pulling out of her drive, i noticed it. My tire had a flat. There it was, i had somehow picked up a screw, driven into the tread. I had to get home! I had an appointment the next day, Sunday! You can imagine my despair to discover that not only did most tire shops close at 5pm... But, were closed Sunday too. Oh no!!! We were able to quickly pump in some air to the tire, and I risked driving into town (my friend behind me) for a repair. The first shop we went to (we HAD called first, btw) flat out turned us away. "Sorry, there's two cars in front of you". Ouch. We made an emergency call to Summit and BRIAN agreed to at least look at it, regardless of time. i was back on the road in less than half an hour, newly patched. On my way home. Thank you, Brian!!!! You are a LIFESAVER. I appreciate your willingness to help "a damsel in distress"... Kindness can be found in the world.

Mike was the real MVP during our trip to Denver. We had quite a nasty accident, and he took care of us from start to finish. The truck who hit us was incredibly uncooperative, but Mike help us coordinate with the State Patrol to tell the truck driver where to go. Mike let us wait in his truck and told us exactly what happened, even correctly predicted that the truck driver would get a citation for a defective vehicle. I wish all towing companies were like this one, and I wish all people were like Mike! Can't speak highly enough of him. My only piece of feedback is that Mike should have been wearing a halo because he was literally our guardian angel!

Was going to charge $100 for a 5 minute jump (already crazy expensive), but decided mid transaction to bump it to $150 after he heard me say “we’ll it’s cheaper than a tow!”. Call it what you want, but that was a serious d*ck move…I’m sure they get the job done but assume you’re getting scammed

Great service, great bunch of service guys!

Customer service rep was very professional and polite but for a company that has been in service for more than 50 years it sucks that they didn't even ask to see the vehicle. It's literally as simple as welding or clamping on a new muffler and they aren't skilled enough to do that on a 99 wrangler? Nice people but lousy service!

Hit that pothole at the Silverthorne exit on I-70 eastbound and completely trashed front left tire. Mike rescued me from a very dangerous shoulder situation. He was helpful, courteous and a great conversationalist. Thank you Mike!

Our radiator gave out on the I-70 Eastbound hill a mile short of the Eisenhower Tunnel. We managed to pull over as far as we could with all the plowed snow on the roadside shoulder, but it was very frightening to have so little room next to the slow truck lane, as well as having the cars whizzing by so close. Additionally, it was freezing outside, where we had to wait for help, as we were naturally very reluctant to sit inside the vehicle given how close it was to the busy traffic lane. The vehicle was in danger of being hit from behind, or sideswiped. The only place worse to have broken down would have been inside the tunnel, and it was serendipity that we at least avoided that catastrophe! After trying for 30 minutes to get through to AAA, at 2:00pm on a normal business day, Friday, we were finally contacted by Ryan's Recovery and notified that their ETA would be one and a half to two hours, that we would not be allowed in the tow truck, that we would have to shift for ourselves for transportation off the freeway, and that they would only tow us as far as Silver Plume, irregardless of our insurance or auto club benefits! I tried to beg them to at least get us to Georgetown, a larger town with full amenities, which is two miles further east, and they said no way. Just as we were trying to process this shocking information, to our never ending relief, Mike O'Leary of Ski Country Shell and Towing, who will always be our rescuing angel, pulls in behind us with his tow truck. He offered to tow us back to our mechanic in Boulder, where we live, and, most importantly, we could accompany him inside his rig. We were overjoyed!! I will always be eternally grateful for Ski Country Towing, and our hero Mike O'Leary. I wish there were more stars to award than five. We owe our lives to you. Thank you!!!
