The shop I’ve been doing business with for years recently changed hands, so I needed a new place to have my vehicles serviced. I asked around and heard good things about S.C.A. So I gave them a try for some brake work and a 60K service on my F250 with a hard side camper. They got me in quickly, gave me an understandable estimate, and did the work well. I love their e-mail and text updates providing estimates and information. I’ll be back.

Ski County is my local garage in Summit County for everything from oil changes to major repairs. Josh, Jeff, Ryan, and everyone else there are great. I have taken my Land Cruiser in to them a couple times and they are thorough, professional, and communicative. I got everything fixed and for the couple days they had my truck waiting on a part, they let me use their loaner vehicle which was a life saver.

I brought my auto in to determine what brakes service was needed. I was told front axle needed pads and rotors at approximately $1000 using OEM materials and was charged for diagnostic service which would subtracted from bill. I was also told rear brakes needed similar service soon. They ordered the parts. I contacted AAA for alternate repair shop. I contacted the AAA approved service shop and was given a quote for same service at around $400. Service was performed for $438 including taxes and was told the rear brakes had about 50% life remaining. I called Ski Country and they refused to address how come their costs were so much higher and they would not return diagnostic charge.

Thank you George for your review. As we did perform a diagnostic review of your vehicle, we are unable to refund or credit a diagnostic fee. My apologies for any misunderstanding. We were able to see your vehicle almost immediately and without an appointment which is very rare. If you did not replace your warped rotors, our estimate is very close to the price you paid. We do provide a thorough and transparent estimate so that our customers are aware of the scope of work. We provide a nationwide 36 month 3 year warranty on parts and labor.
