My 2010 3.6r outback overheated on the westbound pass, I used my AAA tow to get to Ski Country Auto Repair. They got me in and out same day with a quick service to my cooling system. They were completely with the program as far as getting me back on the road ASAP. I was thrilled that I wouldn't have to drop cash on a hotel. They could have held me up for another day taking care of their suggested additional services while I dropped money at the hotel, but they understood my situation and got me confidently back on the road same-day. I was charged fairly, never felt like I was being taken advantage of, and got to speak at-length with my technician about the issue and future maintenance once I finished traveling. Made a tough situation as painless as possible. My tow driver also had a vehicle being serviced there, so that's a good sign.

They fixed my car, but they were very expensive. On the way from Denver to Frisco (where we were to stay for two nights) the battery light on my car came on. They were the closest shop that had capacity to repair my car. Just to diagnose the issue they charged me $245. (While dealing with this issue I learned that the most common cause of it is a faulty alternator.) They came back with exactly this diagnosis and quoted me a total repair cost of $1920 for replacing the alternator and the serpentine belt and tensioner kit (which they recommended to do at the same time), including the $245 diagnosis. I had a chance to talk with my regular mechanic in Denver, and he found it unnecessary to replace the serpentine belt and tensioner kit and quoted me just shy of $460 total for replacing the alternator (quality part, work, and taxes). The Ski Country cost for just replacing the alternator was still a total of $1144. This included $401 for the alternator itself, $394 in labor costs for replacing the alternator (which my regular mechanic said would take an hour), and $81 in "Shop Supplies". I understand that things are somewhat more expensive in the Frisco region, but in my books this is extreme.

The team at Ski Country Auto Repair & Towing were professional and very thorough in their process to repair my car. Josh was particularly helpful coordinating the process and keeping me up to date on the issues. Very happy with the service and will definitely come back when I have any issues with my vehicles.

This company was amazing they came out after the other company abandoned us on the side of the highway. The driver Chris was amazing friendly professional. The dispatcher was amazing. They checked with the owner to make sure my dog could ride with us in wrecker. It was a great experience. I will use them again and i suggest them to everyone. Fantastic experience .

When your a 1000 miles from home and you really need your truck repaired quickly these are the people to trust. I can't thank them enough for the way I was treated and the quality of their work.

Saturday afternoon our rented moving truck broke down in the mountains of Denver on I 70. The truck lost power and warnings light were illuminated on the dash. Chris R was notified by our rental company. He came to the rescue! He quickly diagnosed the problem, made the repair and started the forced regeneration on the truck. He followed us for a few miles to ensure we had no further problem. We really appreciate his skill, efficiency and friendliness.
