Larry’s parents, Ron and Donna, started the business in 1971. Ron (Larry’s dad) had a passion for cars and customer service that inspired him to take the leap into entrepreneurship, setting a foundation for a family legacy. At the time, it was a cozy Texaco gas station, but over the years, it transformed into a hub for locals seeking more than just fuel and became a community cornerstone.
Larry has been with the business since the beginning! From sweeping floors and pumping gas to repairing cars and towing everything imaginable, he has done it all. Each experience has shaped him into a business owner who is proud of Ski Country’s strong roots.
Larry and Laura began dating just before she headed off to college, and after she graduated with an associate’s degree in business, they tied the knot in 1989. When their daughter, Alyssa, was born in 1995, Laura made the leap from her banking career to join the family business. That was 30 years ago! Their son, Casey, came along in ‘98, and together, Larry and Laura worked hard to grow the business while caring for their family. They transitioned to focus on their passion for auto repair and towing, saying goodbye to the gas station.
